For dog training, it's advantageous to have a variety of training methods available. I focus on the root cause of problematic behaviors and offer personalized training methods that allow you to work effectively with your dog. Once I've assessed your dog’s needs, I use positive reinforcement and balanced training methods resulting in a well-trained companion—commencing from day one.

I will teach you how to train your dog, from obedience commands to the most effective ways handling of unwanted behaviors. Whether you've had trainers that didn't get results you wanted, and were told to "shelter your dog," or is "beyond help" — contact me and get it done right. Let's put an end to pulling or lunging on the leash, jumping up, counter surfing, barking at the door, separation anxiety, and aggression towards other dogs, or humans.

SOK9T serves the following areas of Manhattan:

Westside North to W 96 St, Riverside to CPW — South to Houston St, Hudson River to 5th Ave
Eastside North to E 86 St, 5th Ave to 2nd Ave — South to 14 St, W B'way to 2nd Ave
If you are out of our covered areas or from other boroughs, we would meet in Central Park West locations – 59 St, or 96 St. (K9 Training Services Manhattan)

Please note: Aggression, reactivity, or guarding issues, even if presented in the home, are most effectively addressed initially in a different environment, mainly outdoors in Central Park West, where there are fenced-in areas when needed, always distractions, and many dogs/people to work around. However, we will plan at least one in-home visit if any unwanted in-home issues persist. *Training in your home depends on your location. (The Best Dog Training In Manhattan.)

Note: We do not train dogs under 15 lb or less than 14 wks old.
